Home boarding is a very popular alternative to dog kennels.

My dog Lady and I will happily welcome your dog to come stay with us at our home in Crewe while you relax on holiday, knowing that your dog is happy and in safe hands.

We offer 2 home boarding services at Captain K9: our standard home boarding service and a home boarding / training service where I incorporate aspects of my training services during your dog's stay.

Home boarding (standard)

• How would you like your canine friend to come and stay with us? We will take your dog into our home and he/she will become a member of our family for a while. I will meet your dog's needs which also includes a one hour walk/run per day (British weather permitting!).

Home boarding and training

• Details are the same as home boarding standard with the addition of taking advantage of the fact that your dog can be trained while you are on holiday. Your dog will be part of an established pack (our family unit) and this environment can be very effective as dogs learn by association. Your dog will be learning from me while he/she stays with us, and from my dog as he/she observes her behaviour within the family environment.

We regret that we can only offer the boarding packages to dogs who are well socialised.
All puppies must be over 14 weeks old, fully vaccinated and house trained.
